Shopping in France should remain interesting, at least for the next three months. The French Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le Maire, announced on March 6 the launch of an “anti-inflation quarter” during which supermarkets will have to offer “the lowest prices”. Several stores have pledged not to raise prices on a selection of several products.
The distributors will put on the products in question a tricolor blue-white-red “anti-inflation” logo. The operation therefore begins today and should last until June.
