A month ago and following an argument with her husband, Fatma Bayram had left the marital home, rue du Panorama, in Oupeye. She had taken her 5-year-old son, Nail, with her. Together, they had taken the direction of Robinson Island in Visé aboard his little Suzuki Alto. They had given no sign of life therefollowing. The next morning, the body of the little boy was found dead in the Meuse near the Lixhe dam.
Her mother might not be found, she who had not locked her vehicle, leaving the keys in the passenger compartment, which would bode the worst… This Wednesday evening, our colleagues from the Nieuwsblad report that Fatma’s lifeless body was discovered from the across the Dutch border. The body was in Maastricht, 15 kilometers from where the mother’s car was found.
