The axis of Lieutenant General Kamal Amer, which was operated experimentally, is one of the most important new national road projects being implemented in Giza Governorate, as it is the first free traffic artery linking the north and south of Giza, and a new link linking Giza and Cairo Governorate through several entrances, as it extends from the circular Al-Munib in the south to Al-Warraq in the north until Rawd Al-Farag in the Tahya Misr axis, 15 km long and (33-65.5) meters wide; This will contribute significantly to improving the road network, opening new traffic lanes, reducing travel time, eliminating traffic congestion and reducing pollution rates in the Greater Cairo region.

For its part, Giza Governorate confirmed the start of the experimental operation of the axis of Lieutenant General Kamal Amer Al-Hur, in the distance from its intersection with the ring road in the Al-Munib area in the south, until its intersection with the ring road in the north in the area. She pointed out that the new axis contributes to reducing travel time and eliminating traffic jams in Giza Square andJuly 26th Axis And the axis of Saft al-Laban, in addition to reducing the travel time between the north and south of Giza through the ring road, and reducing the distance between the governorates of Cairo and Giza with new traffic linking axes, explaining that the project witnessed the construction of a two-way free axis with a width of (3-4 m) a traffic lane in each direction and the development of roads. And she noted that the sites of the new axis’s rises and houses, which have been completed, include the entrance of a house to and from the League of Arab States, the entrance and house to and from the land of the brigade, the entrance and house next to the new Bashtil train station, and the entrance and another house to and from the Al-Zumor Canal in Al-Umraniyah, confirming the continuation of work to implement A number of other buildings and houses to and from the areas of Nahya, Cairo University and Al-Munib.
