South African club Mamelodi Sundowns announced that 11 players had been injured before playing the Royal M match on Tuesday in the local league and 4 days from facing Al-Hilal of Sudan in the penultimate round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
The South African club published a tweet announcing the absence of 11 players from the team’s list, namely De Royck, Coetzee, Maboye, Sereno, Kabinga, McCullise, Zongo, Abubakar, Mutoba, Saavedra and Cotomela.
Sundowns, the leaders of Group Two, will play with ten points and one point behind Al-Hilal of Sudan, which occupies second place, as they will face off on Sunday before playing the final round on Thursday, where Sundowns will play once morest Al-Ahly of Egypt and Al-Hilal once morest Cameroonian Cotton.
