How GSWB wants to make its existing apartments “climate-friendly”.

The company is planning investments of 450 million euros by 2037. By 2030, all oil and gas heating should disappear.

GSWB manages 25,033 apartments in the city and state of Salzburg. By 2037, the company wants to upgrade this inventory to the extent that it is CO2-neutral, according to the announcement. All remaining oil and gas heating systems are to be replaced by 2030 – 5703 apartments are currently still connected to the gas network, 376 apartments draw their heat from an oil boiler.
