Everything Everywhere All at Once, a sci-fi comedy directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, triumphed ahead of Nothing New in the West, Inisherin’s Banshees and Elvis.
Everything Everywhere All at Once won several of the main awards at the Oscars, being named best film, while its directorial duo also won awards, as well as Michelle Yeoh, crowned best actress.
While Brendan Fraser was awarded the Oscar for best actor for his role in The Whale by Darren Aronofsky, the statuettes for the best supporting roles went to Ke Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis for their performances in Everything Everywhere All at Once.
This feature film, a mix of science fiction, action and comedy, tells the adventures of an American mother of Chinese origin transported to parallel universes to save the world and her family.
