FVG: A major player refuses to participate in the meeting scheduled for tomorrow

The Forum of Social Forces of Guinea (Ffsg) will not take part in the meeting scheduled for Monday, March 13, 2023 between the religious, the Living Forces of Guinea (FVG) and Prime Minister Bernard Goumou, to defuse the Guinean political crisis.

It was the FFSG spokesperson who confirmed the information this Sunday, March 12. The decision is justified by the arrest on Saturday of the coordinator of this Forum, a major player in Forces vives de Guinée.

Abdoul Sacko although released a little later in the evening, the members of the organization which he directs require explanations on the reason for his arrest.

“At the level of the social forces, which is certain, we will not take part in this meeting”, declared Ibrahima Balaya Diallo.

“For us when we talk regarding any dialogue, it must be sincere. Unfortunately such is not the case with what we are seeing”, he regrets.

In addition, the spokesman of the Forum of Social Forces did not fail to take a look at the format of the meeting planned in Conakry. For him, the announced presence of the head of government poses a problem and risks creating misunderstanding between the actors.

“For me, the Prime Minister should come for another meeting. This time, the religious should explain to the actors of the living forces the message that they wish to send to the authorities. But with this pace, we risk not understanding each other”, observes Balaya Diallo this Sunday in the program “Au fil de la transition” on FIM FM.
