South African rapper Costa Titch, 28, died while giving a concert within the framework of the Ultra SA festival, which was held in Johannesburg, the capital of that country.
The artist fell yesterday collapsed on stage in the middle of his interpretation, as recorded by some videos, although he still cause might not be determined of his death, according to different international media.
“With deep pain we are forced to acknowledge his demise right now,” his family wrote on social media, while thanked “the emergency teams and to all those present in their last hours on this earth”.
“As a family, we are facing a difficult time as we try to make sense of what has happened to us and ask for the time and space to collect ourselves. The Tsobanoglou family (victim’s real last name) thanks for the love and support that they have given our son, and that they continue to elevate him even in spirit. Please keep us in his prayers,” the post ends.

The organizers of the festival also issued a statement official in which they expressed feeling “devastated by the sudden loss from beloved South African artist Costa Titch, who tragically passed away this weekend.
“Costa was a galvanizing voice within the South African Amapiano scene: a rapper, dancer, songwriter, collaborator and friend with festival talent. Our deepest thoughts and sincere condolences are with his family, friends and our entire community, who are mourning this heartbreaking loss together.”
Although in our country it was not a household name, the late rapper had a smash hit titled “Big Flexa”which accumulates 45 million views on YouTube.
Costa Titch, 27, was a leading figure of the rap movement of the African country.
