5 factors that determine your calorie needs

The Food and Drug Authority clarified that there are 5 factors that determine the daily need for an individual in calories (a unit of measurement for the amount of energy in food).

The authority indicated that these factors include height, weight, gender, age and level of physical activity, pointing out the importance of reading the food label before choosing a product.

She indicated that the average calorie requirement for an adult is regarding 2,000 calories, and for a child, it is regarding 1,800 calories.
