The Prime Minister sharply opposed the opponents of judicial reform.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vehemently attacked opponents of judicial reform, saying that radicalization and inflated struggles are taking place.
At the beginning of the cabinet meeting, Netanyahu said: “The mobilized media are trying to gloss over the situation, which does not correspond to the extreme line that they and the opponents of the reform are taking. They take the discussion to an absurd level.”
“The fact that for two months our repeated calls for negotiations and reconciliation have not received any response from the opposition proves that what they are interested in is not reform, but the creation of anarchy and the overthrow of the elected government. Reform is just a pretext.”
“I I hope that honest and patriotic people who care regarding the country will rise up. But make no mistake, we have received a clear order from the public and we will carry out our mandate,” Netanyahu said.
