AEK made history in women’s volleyball

The Union, with the same score that prevailed over PAOK in last night’s semi-final, imposed the “clover” and justly took the “cup”, not allowing the team of Yiannis Kalmazidis to do the back to back.

AEK, which found itself behind 15-11 in the first set, made an amazing start and with a 9-0 run escaped with 20-15 of Panathinaikos, who seemed to have lost. The Union with the psychology at the height reached 1-0 very easily with 25-21.

In the second set the “greens” were dominant from the start, they quickly took a lead which they did not lose this time and with an emphatic 25-14 they tied the final (1-1).

The third set was a battle, with the “yellow and black” taking advantage of some effortless mistakes by their opponents and reaching 2-1 with 25-20, taking a clear lead to win the trophy.
