Nicolas Rivière and Michel Blang said that their delegation came to feel the security situation and assess the extent of the humanitarian situation.
With the President of the Republic Félix Tshisekedi, the interview also revolved around the ongoing electoral process.

Asked regarding the sanctions to be imposed on Rwanda, whose support for the M23 is beyond doubt, the French and Gabonese diplomats said that all options are possible.

replied M Rivière to the journalist while condemning the looting of wealth and the humanitarian disaster.
As for the humanitarian situation, the UN delegation said that it continues the work of mobilizing partners for an appropriate response.
