Kaolack, March 9 (APS) – The first edition of the Regional Craft Industry Fair is scheduled for November 23 to December 3 in Kaolack (center), on the theme: ”Crafts, lever of economic sovereignty”, a learned the APS Thursday from the organizers.

The announcement was made by the president of the Kaolack Chamber of Trades, El Hadji Sidy Diop during a press briefing sanctioning a general assembly to assess the first months of their mandate, which began in May 2022.

The event, at the initiative of the Chamber of Trades of the regions of Diourbel, Fatick, Kaffrine and Kaolack, will highlight ”territorial genius” by organizing a competition on creativity and innovation. ‘.

According to the organizers of SAFAR 2023, this activity is also a framework for promoting and promoting the products and services of the artisanal sectors following a value chain approach, by being a “real laboratory” for the design and optimization of economic development. territorial.
