On March 10, at 20:40, the “Horadiz” border detachment of the Border Troops of the State Security Service near Shukurbeyli village of Jabrayil district, on March 11 at 05:55, the “Goytepe” border detachment of the Border Troops of the Service, Mikayilli village of Jalilabad district. as a result of the vigilance of the border guards from the service area of the border post located nearby, the smuggling of narcotics into Azerbaijan was prevented.
As a result of the border search and operational measures in the area, a total of 30 kilograms and 600 grams of narcotics, 1440 units of Methadone M-40, 754 units of Pregabalin, 50 units of Gababrel psychotropic pills and various medicinal preparations were found and taken.
On March 10, around 10:00 p.m., in the service area of the border outpost of the “Khudat” border detachment of the border troops of the SSC, located near Samurchay village of Khachmaz district, 2 citizens of Azerbaijan tried to cross the state border illegally from Azerbaijan to Russia – 2006 Mahmudov Rahman Aydın oglu, born in 2008, and Gadirov Pasha Vugar oglu, born in 2008, were detained.
On March 10, at 8:50 p.m., two border violators, Guinean citizen Camara Moussa and Liberian citizen Vhyee Jr., attempted to cross the state border from Azerbaijan in the direction of Georgia in the service territory of the border outpost located near Pozhabina village of Balakan district of the “Zagatala” border detachment of the Border Troops of the Service. During the investigation, it was determined that the detained persons intend to enter the territory of the country in an official manner, to cross the state border and migrate from Azerbaijan to Georgia, and from there to one of the European countries.
