The Rapide Club de Oued Zem (RCOZ) football club announced on Thursday the appointment of national manager Mohamed Alaoui Ismaili to replace Mohamed Bekkari.
The former Wydad Casablanca assistant coach has signed a contract with RCOZ which runs until the end of the current 2022-2023 sports season but is renewable, the club said.
Mohamed Alaoui Ismaili started his coaching career with the Renaissance club of Zemamra. He had subsequently coached the Raja Club of Beni Mellal.
Holder of a Master’s degree in “training and sports management”, Mohamed Ismaili Alaoui officiated as a sports coach at the Mohammed VI Football Academy and evolved as a player in several national clubs (Hassania Union Sport d ‘Agadir, Fath Union Sports of Rabat, Sports Youth Massira).
Rapide Club Oued Zem is in second place overall with 29 points at the end of the 18th day of the Botola Pro D2 “Inwi” behind Renaissance Khemis Zemamra who totals 31 points.
