to this end Dante Simón, judicial vicar of the Archdiocese of Córdoba, was appointed as delegate to carry out the canonical process.

“His task will consist of evaluating the evidence and arguments collected in the previous canonical investigation, gathering possible new information and receiving the defendant’s defense. Subsequently, this background must be sent to the superior general for his decision, in accordance with the current canonical norms ”, they pointed out.

They further stressed that Felipe Berríos, investigated for cases of alleged sexual abuse, “continues to be a priest of the Society of Jesus.”
