Warning: your hair clip could pierce your skull in the car

Do you usually wear a hair clip when you’re in the car? Well, maybe it’s time to find another way to tie up your hair.

An American, who identifies herself as Paisley Nicole on TikTok, says in a video that has gone viral that a hair clip got stuck in her skull following a car accident.

At the time of the accident, which reportedly occurred last Saturday, the young woman from Mississippi was a passenger in a sport utility vehicle. A friend of hers was driving.

When the driver made a turn, at around 30km/h, she said, Paisley Nicole hit her head on a bar and the hair clip she was wearing slammed into the back of her skull.

Fortunately, doctors found no damage to his brain. However, she had five stitches behind her head.

During her accident, Paisley Nicole wore a large hair clip, called claw clip in English.

“I got loads, loads, loads of comments from people who know someone who died in a car accident because of a hair clip that caused permanent brain damage,” she says.

Paisley Nicole now wants to make people aware of the dangers these clamps can pose.

“I posted these videos to let other girls know that it can be very dangerous to have a hair clip, because I was very lucky, but it might have been really worse than five points stitches.”
