Officials of the Anzoátegui State Police (Polianzoátegui) apprehended three adolescents aged 15, 16 and 17 for allegedly being involved in the theft of several pieces of taps in one of the bathrooms of the Universidad de Oriente (UDO).

The director of the police force, Chief Commissioner Power Cano Nieto, indicated that the uniformed officers were conducting a preventive tour of the facilities when they heard several blows. He added that they immediately entered the toilet and found the minors, who had already caused damage and white water leaks.

They proceeded to arrest them and seized a pipe wrench, two pliers, and two bicycles, supposedly used as a means of transportation. The case was left to the order of the Seventh Prosecutor of the Public Ministry (MP).

The director of Polianzoátegui reported that two individuals were caught for alleged drug possession in the Simón Rodríguez and Simón Bolívar municipalities.

Michael José Gómez Rojas (24) was apprehended on Main Avenue in the El Viñedo sector, in the capital’s jurisdiction, because he had 20 grams of alleged creepy in his possession. While in the Simón Bolívar I sector of El Tigre, the person captured was José Gregorio Salazar Caraballo (24), from whom 24 packages of alleged marijuana were seized.

Both were placed under the order of the Seventh Prosecutor of the MP.
