Morelia, Mich.- A clothesline once morest bullying installed in the School of Medicine of the Michoacan University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH) exhibits teachers with these practices once morest students.

Organized by an association of doctors to join the activities for the International Day of Working Women, this March 8, the clothesline displays the names of some teachers under anonymous complaints, although in some cases they do point out harassing actions.

“Dr. Vega is a sexual harasser. Be careful”, says one of the cards. “Stop justifying yourself by saying that you were under the influence of alcohol,” says another. “Dr. Carlos G. Nava makes unnecessary comments during class”, says another.

According to several students on the campus, management personnel tried to remove the clothesline yesterday, although they were prevented by those who consulted the complaints and even took pictures of them to spread them on their networks.

The Michoacán Women’s Assembly, during yesterday’s march that left Ciudad Universitaria, denounced that harassment is a persistent practice in university classrooms, for which reason they demanded that the rector Yarabí Ávila attend to the cases and punish those responsible .
