Engelbert Neubauer from WIRS Liste 7 speaks plainly regarding the Salzburg peasantry.
Salzburg (OTS) –
Farmers were deprived of added value for decades. The ÖVP only wants to earn money with the farmers instead of working for them. The EU liquid manure regulation is another negative example. The farmers fall into further debts for the new, prescribed liquid manure barrels, while the odor reduction by mixing stone flour or charcoal can be achieved very well without these in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. This is just one example of many where the ÖVP has failed as the so-called representative of the Salzburg farmers. The barrel and not just the liquid manure tank has long been over.
We are disappointed, very disappointed by this agricultural policy.
Those who work in agriculture should actually get the money!
