Girl group NewJeans’ ‘Ditto’ has achieved a new record on the domestic music site Melon.

On the 7th, according to the agency, Adorre, New Jeans’ ‘Dito’ re-occupied the top spot on the Melon daily chart the previous day. It has been number one for 77 days in a row since its release on December 19 last year.

As a result, New Jeans’ ‘Dito’ has surpassed the previous record (75 times) of BTS’ hit song ‘Dynamite’ and is establishing itself as the most cumulative number one song on Melon’s daily chart.

New Jeans also set a new record on the Melon weekly chart. “Ditto” also held the top spot on the Melon weekly chart (February 27 – March 5, 2023) for 11 consecutive weeks. This is the longest period since Melon service started in 2004.

In addition to ‘hype boy’, New Jeans’ debut song ‘Attention’ ranked 6th on Genie and 7th on Melon and Bugs. The two debut songs, released more than 7 months ago, continued to maintain the ‘Top 10’ along with the new songs, leading the New Jeans popularity march.

In terms of musicality, New Jeans also received favorable reviews.
