In the second stage of the selection process of applicants to fill the four vacancies for directors of the National Electoral Institute (INE), the Technical Evaluation Committee outlined to two of the closest to Morena.
Of the 508 who took the written exam – electronically and in tablets granted by the Chamber of Deputies – on Tuesday, March 7, the Technical Committee refined the list to 50 percent and released this March 8 that only 204 were leftof which 102 are men and 102 women, who will go to the next stage, which are personal interviews with the members of the Committee.
From the list of men, the one who obtained the highest score, with 79 correct answers out of the 80 included in the exam, was Jaime Miguel Castañeda Salaswho has been an advisor to the representation of Morena in the General Council of the INE.
From the list of women, the one with the highest rating was Bertha María Mayor Luján -sister of the Secretary of Labor, Luisa María Alcalde, and daughter of the president of the National Council of Morena, Bertha Luján Uranga-, with 74 correct points, in a test that was multiple choice.
With 70 hits, he also selected among those with the greatest knowledge -in matters of constitutional law, electoral law, human rights and government function- a Netzai Sandoval Ballesterosbrother of the ex-secretary of Public Administration, Irma Erendira Sandovaland who was also head of the Federal Institute of Public Defender.
With 76 points, he also recruited Federico Hidalgo Huchim Gamboa to the next stage, who collaborated in Irma Sandoval’s teamin the Ministry of Public Function.
Among other outstanding applicants for their high qualification, the Technical Committee listed:
- Ocampo Zambrano Armando, with 78 points.
- Ramos Mega César Ernesto, 77.
- Ruiz Cazares Ranmses Arturo, 77.
- Valle Monroy Bernardo, 77.
- Aparicio Castillo Francisco Javier, 74.
- Cardiel Soto Roberto Heycher, 74.
- Constantino Echeverria Pedro Rafael, 74.
- Abreu Sacramento José Pablo, 73.
- Beltran Miranda Yuri Gabriel, 73.
- Crisanto Campos Juan Manuel, 73.

In general, women achieved lower scores than men, and they were the ones who followed in the first places:

The aspiring women indicated as close to Morena and the 4T -according to the review made by the opposition parties- achieved lower scores. Guadalupe Taddei Zavala, former president of the Electoral Institute of Sonora, 65 points; Diana Talavera Flores, 65 hits.
