An air alert has been declared throughout Ukraine. Explosions occurred in several cities and regions, including in Kyiv, Odessa, Kharkov, Lvov and Dnepropetrovsk regions. Power is off in some areas.
An air alert was announced at night in all regions of the country, follows from the alert map. The head of the presidential office, Andriy Yermak, on Telegram urged citizens “not to ignore the alarm in any case.”
In the morning explosions thundered in Kyiv. As UNIAN writes, the air defense system has worked. There were regarding 15 explosions in Kharkov, Mayor Igor Terekhov said. According to local media, there is no electricity in part of the city. The head of the Odessa regional military administration, Maxim Marchenko, announced an explosion at a critical infrastructure facility. In the Cherkasy region, a “safety power outage” was carried out, said the head of the administration, Igor Taburets. The media report explosions in the Dnieper (Dnepropetrovsk region), Lutsk (Volyn region), Rivne (Rivne region), as well as in the Lviv region and other regions.
Russia has not yet commented on the information regarding the explosions in Ukraine. Since October, the Russian army has been carrying out massive missile strikes on Ukraine. According to official reports from the RF Ministry of Defense, energy infrastructure facilities related to the military-industrial complex were also attacked.
