A Kentucky woman with more than 230 great-great-grandchildren has met her first 6th-generation biological granddaughter.
A photo showing the six generations of women, including MaeDell Hawkins and her great-great-great-granddaughter Zhavia Whitaker, taken on February 18, quickly ignited the web, according to Fox News.
At just 16, the woman, now 98, married her first husband who was 50. The latter already having 10 children, she took on the role of mother before having 13 children herself.
When we count MaeDell Hawkins’ biological and in-law descendants, we see that she is related to 623 people. In total, she would have 106 grandchildren, 222 great-grandchildren, 234 great-great-grandchildren and 37 great-great-great-grandchildren.
