India’s death over specialist Jasprit Bumrah underwent surgery. Bumrah has not been active in the Indian team since last September due to a hamstring injury. The Indian pacer was shifted to New Zealand for surgery last day. Cricket media outlet Cricbuzz reports that the surgery was a success and Bumrah is doing well.

The Indian pacer missed the 2022 Asia Cup and T20 World Cup due to injury. The star was also not included in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy once morest Australia. Due to injury, Bumrah may not participate in this year’s IPL.

Bumrah may be fully recovered from the injury which took him around 24 weeks. Apart from the IPL, the player may not participate in the Asia Cup ODI tournament. But Cricbuss is reporting citing BCCI sources that the Indian pacer may participate in the One Day Cricket World Cup later this year.
Meanwhile, English pacer Jofra Archer has recovered from his injuries and is active in cricket, which is a comforting news for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. The English pacer might replace Bumrah, who is out following surgery, to lead Mumbai Indians’ pace line in the 2023 season of IPL.
