Río Negro will apply new amounts for family allowances in the State

The Government of Río Negro, within the framework of wage parity, announced the increase in the values of the family allowances that are paid to the state-provincial ones.

The increases will be 100% and will be applied with the assets of March, benefiting more than 18 thousand public agents, among some 6,800 employees of laws 1,844 and 1,904; regarding 5,000 police officers, and another 6,500 teachers.

Río Negro applies its allocation regime and its values were well below those applied by the Nation, which triples the Río Negro amounts.

That situation determines a permanent claim from the guilds for their updates. ATE insisted on this measure this week and, finally, the administration of Arabela Carreras confirmed that the amounts will increase by 100%, starting in March.

At the beginning of 2022, the Province complied with its last modification. Since March, the Nation has set the ceiling to pay allocations at 404 thousand gross pesos.

In Río Negro, two value scales are applied, with different limits for the benefited agents, always linked to remuneration.

The first cut includes workers with salaries of less than 228,000 pesos in February and, since March, it has reached 243,000 pesos. The second cap reached salaries of up to 282,000 pesos and was raised to 301,000 pesos.

The initial segment -up to 243,000 pesos- has the full value of the assignment while in the second it charges half of the benefit.

So, starting in March, The Río Negro State will pay 6,000 pesos per child when it was 3,000 pesos in February.

The other amounts are: the child due to disability was 12,000 pesos and went to 24,000 pesos; by birth it rose from 5,290 to 10,580 pesos; for prenatal from 3,000 to 6,000 pesos; by adoption it was modified from 31,740 pesos to 63,480 pesos while by marriage it increased from 7,936 pesos to 15,872 pesos.

In addition, the Province promised a permanent update of the ceilings, applying the same monthly increase agreed with the unions for salaries. This decision responds to a union request because this is how the beneficiaries will remain when, without these changes in the cuts, the increases in remuneration determine that agents exceed the maximum and then stop receiving the allowances.
