In San Miguel de Tucuman a transit agent knocked out a taxi driver with a pineapple he did not want to be fined. It was on Tuesday on Santa Fe street, between Laprida and Virgen de la Merced and it was filmed by a passerby who was surprised by the unusual scene.
The inspector, identified as Emiliano Nasul, he asked the taxi driver to stop his march, since he had parked in a prohibited place. when rreviewed the taxi driver’s documentation and confirmed that he was missing the health cardasked him to take his vehicle to the municipal corralón.
on that journey the driver assaulted the agent and he gave him a pineapple that left him fainted on the ground. “The taxi was parked on Marco Paz and Laprida, in a prohibited area. When the inspector asks for documentation, he gives him the card, the green card, but he did not have the health card. Therefore, the inspector tells him that he has to take the taxi to the corralón ”, explained the Undersecretary of Traffic of San Miguel de Tucumán, Enrique Romero to The Gazette.
When the men were heading to the corralón, when they stopped at a traffic light, violence broke out. The taxi driver got out of his vehicle, pushed the inspector off the motorcycle and took away the documentation that he had requested moments before, before which the official hit the man and threw him to the ground.
“I shouldn’t have. The act of violence is not justified, beyond the fact that the inspector fell and hit himself,” Romero explained. After the images went viral, Nasul recorded a video with his apology: “I want to apologize, I felt overwhelmed by the situation. This man had thrown me off the motorcycle and was trying to take my radio, my helmet, my documentation. I felt overwhelmed, I was scared because he was coming very close to me ”.

Currently, the approximately 26-year-old only works as a traffic agent for the municipality of San Miguel de Tucumán.
