Innsbruck/Vienna – The state-owned Tyrolean energy supplier Tiwag wants to decide on the redesign of the electricity tariffs for standard customers by the end of March. CEO Erich Entstrasser stated, however, that the additional procurement costs had to be taken into account in the pricing, otherwise Tiwag’s “earnings and financial strength” would be endangered and investments would be delayed or even prevented, he said. The trigger for the recalculation was a report by the Chamber of Labour.
