It is something that he has been demonstrating since his debut at the Catholic University and that he apparently maintains now, at 35, that he is one of the leaders of Bologna in Italy.
This was confirmed by one of his teammates, the Scottish midfielder Lewis Ferguson. The footballer spoke with the podcast Open Goal and he referred to what happened some time ago, when the painting Red Blue was not going through a good run and the ditches from the club went to training to squeeze them, that is, to ask them for explanations for their poor performance.
“The meeting with the fans? I didn’t quite understand what was happening because they were yelling in Italian. But they were very hot. I thought I had gone too far,” Ferguson said at the outset.
And he immediately added: “They were face to face with us, some of our players lost their minds, it might have become a Royal Rumble.”
One of those players? Next: “At one point I noticed that one of the fans accused us of not trying hard enough. A fight was regarding to start. Gary Medel faced the biggest of them and it seemed that he was going to challenge him. We had to contain it.”
“I have never experienced anything like this in my career. Already in the locker room the others told me ‘welcome to Italy’ ”, she completed.
Luckily, for a few weeks Bologna has come back and is now in the eighth position of Calcio, which they share with Juventus, and they are even still excited regarding the chance to access the Conference League.
