Symposium: “One health: program and concept, through the prism of human and social sciences” | handles

The DIM One Health is co-organizing with the National Museum of Natural History (MNHN) a symposium on the “One Health” concept seen through the prism of social sciences. This symposium will be an opportunity to question the construction of the “One Health” concept, but also the horizons and injunctions it opens up. The discussion will be organized around 3 transversal axes:

  • one health? Epistemology of a concept;
  • public health controversies;
  • circulation of crises, pathogens and medicines.

It will end with a round table. It then appears that what circulates are not only pathogens, but concepts, public policies, representations that fully participate in the emergence or invisibilization of questions, in the recomposition of categories of perception and action, effectiveness or failure of treatments.

The DIM One Health is a scientific project funded by the Ile de France Region whose objective is to create a strong network in “One Health” infectiology unique in France.

Admission is free and free, within the limit of available places.
