Implementation of by-election notification on 9 constituencies in Sindh suspended – Pakistan

The Sindh High Court has stopped the implementation of the notification of the by-elections to be held on March 16 in 9 constituencies in Sindh.

The Sindh High Court heard the petitions once morest the acceptance of the resignations of 9 members of the National Assembly of PTI.

The petitioner’s lawyer said that in Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad and Balochistan, injunctions have been received on similar applications.

The court stopped the implementation of the notification of the by-election to be held on March 16 in 9 constituencies in Sindh.

The lawyer said that I have filed an application to be a party, an independent candidate from a constituency.

On which the Chief Justice Sindh High Court remarked that do you know the facts of what happened in this case?

The court issued notices on the request of independent candidate Qais Mansoor Sheikh to become a party.

Later, the court adjourned further hearing till March 25.

It should be remembered that this petition was filed on behalf of 9 members of National Assembly of Tehreek-e-Insaf.
