With the indie box, the entire XboxSquad editorial team offers you mini reviews of very little known or highlighted indie games. While some don’t deserve to step out of the shadows of the Xbox marketplace, others may be worth a look. This is the whole subject of this section.
Bendy and the Dark Revival features a cartoonist/animator trapped in a creepy cartoon world. The artistic direction is the strong point, the only one by the way, as a horrifying homage to the animation of yesteryear. But, in first person view, the overall rendering broke my head and made me nauseous following 30 minutes. So I can’t advise you at all. Too bad, because between small puzzles, the successful cartoonish atmosphere, Bendy and the Dark Revival had a good little potential as a little horror game to spend pleasant hours… Alas, I didn’t spend them having a headache anymore.
