Ukraine’s foreign minister on Monday called for an investigation by the International Criminal Court following a video emerged showing Russian soldiers executing a Ukrainian prisoner of war.
Dmytro Kuleba said on Twitter: “A horrific video clip of the execution of an unarmed Ukrainian prisoner of war by Russian forces just for saying ‘Glory to Ukraine’. Further proof that this war aims for genocide.”
“It is imperative that (International Criminal Court Prosecutor) Karim Khan launch an immediate investigation into this heinous war crime,” he added.
“The perpetrators of these acts must be brought to justice,” he added.
