Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were asked to vacate Frogmore Cottage which has been their residence in England. Then, where will the two of them stay when visiting England?
It is known, the palace asked Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to empty their belongings at Frogmore Cottage until just before the coronation of King Charles. The residence will later be used by Prince Andrew.
According to palace sources, this move was made as part of King Charles’ plan to streamline the monarchy. He plans to abolish benefits for members of the royal family who decide not to work.
But at the same time, the ‘expulsion’ of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is proof of King Charles’ anger over the release of Spare. It is known, the king asked his youngest son to vacate Frogmore Cottage a few days following the memoir was released.
Regarding where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will live later, King Charles has already prepared a place. Sources say the doors of Buckingham Palace are always open for them.
“His Majesty is furious, just like William. But the king is not a bad person, he doesn’t want to see his brother, Andrew, homeless or penniless. He also doesn’t want to deprive the Sussexes of their residency in England,” the source said.
“But London suits them better. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have always wanted a room at Buckingham Palace. They can have Andrew’s old bedroom there, which is currently being vacated.”
It is known, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle finally got an invitation to attend the coronation of King Charles. Both of them have received invitations via email, but it is still not certain whether the two will attend the event.
“I can confirm the Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Royal Highness’s office regarding the coronation,” the spokesperson said Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quoted from the Sunday Times.
“The decision on whether the Duke and Duchess will attend has not been made public at this time,” he concluded.
