They find an agrarian representative and his family alive, reports the Nayarit prosecutor’s office

TEPIC, NAY.- Lto Nayarit Attorney General’s Office reported that they were located Santos de la Cruz Carrillo and his family, “those who are in good health,” following allegedly being deprived of liberty.

In a statement, the agency said that this thanks to “Intelligence work” of elements of the Criminal Investigation Agency that worked in coordination with the entity’s Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC).

The information shared in the letter is imprecise, for which they announced that they will release more details of the case when “the corresponding location protocols are carried out.”

It was last Friday, March 3 -at approximately 8 in the morning- when the agrarian representative of the community of indigenous peoples Bancos de Calítique, Durango, was reported missing.

The first reports suggest that he was intercepted by members of a criminal group in the municipal seat of Jesús María, Nayarit, and the community of La Guerra in Santa Rosa.

During the course of Saturday, a search alert was published on the Facebook profile Sierra del Nayarin which the photograph of the aforementioned appears, who was accompanied by his wife Carlota Aguilar and their young son Paulo.
