Active support of rescue teams in home births

Volunteers from the Viennese professional rescue service and the Vienna Workers’ Samaritan Association provided active support for a home birth last Saturday (February 25). When his mother went into labour, little Maximilian was in a hurry. When the first rescue team arrived, the birthing process had already begun. The paramedics therefore decided to prepare everything for a home birth, reported the professional rescue service in Vienna on Sunday.

After the uncomplicated birth, mother and child received first aid and care and were then taken to a clinic. “A birth is always something special. It’s nice when everything goes so well. We wish mother and child all the best,” the “obstetricians” now told mother and son, who are both doing well.
