A true phenomenon in the video game industry since its launch in 2017, Fortnite has continued to evolve over time. Having become familiar in the landscape of casual or seasoned players, the Epic Games game might very soon welcome a new game mode that some purists have been waiting for a long time.
Fortnite soon in a new light?
Season 1 of Chapter 4 ending very soon, Epic Games is busy preparing the new features that will be integrated into Season 2 with, among them, the possible arrival of an FPS mode. The statement of such a mode is not a first since its evocation already dates back to June 2022.
The keenest observers will also have noticed that a small glitch appeared at the beginning of February allowing us to have an overview of its mode of operation. This not necessarily trivial episode has not yet made Epic Games react, but things might quickly change.
The famous dataminers HYPEX and ShiinaBR have indeed declared on Twitter that they have received exclusive information allowing them to confirm the imminent arrival of this FPS mode in Fortnite.
However, according to HYPEX, playing in FPS mode in Fortnite should only remain an option since most of what its source might see took place in third person view.
We will have to wait a few more days before knowing the end of this story, but we bet that an answer will be provided shortly. In the meantime, remember that other rumors point to a future Attack on Titan event as well as a crossover with Resident Evil to celebrate the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Fortnite’s First Person mode is finally coming in NEXT SEASON ????
