Ready to charge your smartphone on a sunbed?

With Bancosolar, here is the sunbed!

Street furniture is exposed to bad weather and especially permanently to sunlight. The Spanish company Bancosolar therefore offers tables and benches with an original method of financing. Ideal for tourist resorts?

The answer seems yes to me! Manufactured in Fraga, Aragon in Spain, these benches can indeed be financed by or obviously purchased by municipal authorities wishing to offer additional services to the population.

Three smartphones in parallel

Fitted with solar collectors, they are equipped with batteries that allow them to charge smartphones, tablets or to illuminate the spaces where they are installed for varying periods of time. According to their designers, these batteries make it easy to light up all summer nights or until midnight in winter (depending on location).

At the forefront, the designers have thought of everyone. In addition to the two USB-A ports, the bench includes a Qi standard charger to inflate your smartphone without contact. A total of three devices can be charged simultaneously, as seen in the photo above taken at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona.

And more…

The designers of these benches and tables also propose to include a QR code referring to tourist information for the region, or even information in Braille for the visually impaired. Better, these benches are equipped with a thermometer to display the ambient temperature.

This sunbed, which can integrate a Wi-Fi or 4G connection, is made of resistant materials designed to withstand bad weather. The solar panels are particularly protected once morest shocks and can directly support the weight of people and objects placed on them, according to the manufacturer’s website.
