They surprise a British man who tried to leave with cocaine from the Bonilla Aragón airport

A citizen of British nationality was captured in the last hours in Palmira, this following he was caught transporting more than 20 kilos of cocaine when he tried to leave the country.

According to what was stated regarding the case, the man’s suspicious attitude caught the attention of the authorities and ‘Máximo, a police anti-narcotics canine, who detained the citizen to check his luggage in detail.

Once the search work was carried out, the Police found that the man had 23 kilos of cocaine hidden in his suitcase, which is valued at $5,000 million.

“16 packages with 23 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride were found inside his suitcase,” said Colonel Éver Gómez, commander of the Valle Police.

According to the authorities, the foreign citizen was at the Alfonso Bonilla Aragón Airport ready to take a flight to Bogotá, and then board a plane to London.

“The prisoner was left before the competent authority who imposed an insurance measure on him in a prison,” the Colonel said.
