The renowned influencer from Cali, El Mincho, died this Friday in a clinic in the capital of Valle del Cauca.

Very shocked, a close friend of the content creator confirmed to WEEK Mincho’s death. Apparently, the young man died following suffering a cardiorespiratory arrest.

The young man created humorous content that he published on his Facebook profiles on Instagram. His first name was Janer Quiñones.

On Facebook he had more than 260,000 followers, while on Instagram he had almost 44,000.

El Mincho uploaded his latest content to social networks on February 27. In that video he appears with two friends doing a series of challenges.

As soon as the news of his death broke, his followers left comments mourning his death.

“Peace for your soul”, “Rest in peace” and “Goodbye”, are some of the comments that Internet users have left.

Due to the youth of the influencer, his followers do not leave astonished by his death. “I don’t think so, manito, your videos made me laugh a lot. You will always be in our hearts,” they say.

“It is with sadness that we say goodbye to one of the most well-known and beloved content creators in the Colombian Pacific. Thank you for everything, Janer Quiñones (el Mincho) ”, lamented fans of his videos.

Narly López, a friend of the content creator, had asked for a prayer chain for her health. In his petition, he provided details of the health problems he suffered.

The specialists intubated him to try to save his life, but he did not resist. The woman also said that the man had an underlying disease that was being treated.

“Our Mincho is currently in the ICU, he is quite delicate, last night he suffered a respiratory arrest. You know he has a thyroid problem.” said the woman hours before the death.

Quickly, the state of health deteriorated despite the medical attention. López told her social networks that during her stay at the clinic she suffered new heart attacks.

“Mincho is suffering stoppages every two hours, but he continues clinging to life, so don’t stop praying,” exposed the friend of the influencer.

Those close to Mincho describe him as a cheerful man who had the ability to make those around him smile.
