Reception crisis: towards a small political miracle for asylum seekers?

Several hours of discussions were not enough this Friday to validate ways to resolve the reception crisis in Belgium. The Secretary of State, Nicole de Moor (CD&V) is however delighted that a new kern on this subject is scheduled for Monday.

La Will Vivaldi be able to announce an ambitious plan to respond to the reception crisis this Monday? Behind the scenes, many think so, or at least hope so. Starting with the Secretary of State for Asylum and Migration, Nicole de Moor (CD&V). For months she has been working “day and night” to find solutions to the record influx of asylum seekers in our country since 2015. Due to a lack of places, around 3,000 people have been left on the street for a year, pushing Belgian and European courts to condemn Belgium several thousand times to pay penalty payments.
