24-year-old midfielder Alexis Mac Allister was a key player for Argentina at the last World Cup under Lionel Scaloni. He was noted for his impressive performances and is now considered one of the Premier League’s rising stars, having scored 7 goals in 22 games in all competitions this season for his club, Brighton.
Many clubs, including Manchester City, Chelsea and Juventus Turin, are interested in his talents and he might be transferred for a significant sum this summer. Football Insider also reported that Liverpool are interested in the player, who is valued at around €78m by Brighton.
