It is soon the end of an era for Icade. After eight years at the head of the company, Olivier Wigniolle, whose second term will expire on April 21, is regarding to bow out. In the meantime, the subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts and Crédit Agricole, both a real estate and land developer, must find a new general manager.
The latter will be responsible, according to a press release from the group, for “defining a strategy adapted to a new real estate and financial environment that is complex and volatile but full of opportunities”. A reference, in particular, to the rise in construction costs and the increase in mortgage interest rates, which weighs on the financing of operations while making it more difficult for households to access credit.
