At nearly 11 a.m. this followingnoon, the authorities were still blocking the scene of this big fire.
On March 2, news from the Fire and Rescue Police Department (PC07 – Ho Chi Minh City Police) said a beef fat recycling facility for animal feed and an adjacent company on Le Van Khuong Street, Ward Hiep Thanh, District 12 has just had a big fire.
Around 2 o’clock on the same day, people living in alley 551, Le Van Khuong street were startled to wake up because of many explosions. They ran out and saw a large column of black smoke rising from the house that is also a beef fat recycling facility in the alley and many people running away with their belongings.
People shouted and tried to put out the fire, but efforts on the spot were unsuccessful.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police Team – District 12 Police coordinated with relevant units to dispatch many specialized vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene. Force divided into many noses, pull the water cannon to spray level. 1 hour later, the fire went out.
The fire was extinguished following regarding 1 hour
