Your diet during your first pregnancy should be balanced and should include more complex carbohydrates such as vegetables rather than refined carbohydrates such as sugar and rice, proteins such as eggs and milk, lean meats and seafood, fats, preferably vegetable oils and nuts. Sprouts, fruits, berries and dry fruits are healthy for pregnancy.

4. Constipation

Drinking plenty of fluids will prevent urinary tract infections and constipation during pregnancy.

Constipation is a common problem during pregnancy, so it is recommended to eat a diet rich in fiber. These include beets, carrots, bananas, apples, berries, and lentils.

5. Ensure adequate sleep

Getting a good eight hours of sleep at night and some rest during the day is fine. Night work is not encouraged. It is recommended to sleep on the left side because it improves blood circulation towards the baby from the mother.

6. Exercise and movement during pregnancy

Prenatal walking exercises are usually recommended by an obstetrician once the second trimester is complete.

Meditation, deep breathing, and prenatal yoga help with relaxation.

Walking becomes a bit difficult in the third trimester due to the loosening of the hip joints. You will feel the hip pain better with the application of a pain-relieving balm.
