Currently, the Nha Trang – Cam Lam expressway needs to accelerate the construction progress to complete the embankment work of the bidding package to construct the foundation, road surface, … to meet the overall progress of the project.
According to statistics of the Ministry of Transport at the end of February, 2023, the cumulative output of Nha Trang – Cam Lam Expressway is 2,896/4,345 billion VND (reaching 66.6% of the contract value). Accumulated disbursement for construction and installation reached VND 2,708/4.345 billion (reaching 62.3% of the contract).
In which, disbursement of VGF capital is regarding 1,100.6/1,788.28 billion VND (61.5% of the value of state capital contributed under the contract).
According to the winning results, the State’s capital is 2,967.16 billion VND, including: VGF’s capital is 1,788.28 billion VND; capital to support the implementation of a number of tasks under the responsibility of competent state agencies is regarding VND 1,178.88 billion. BOT capital is 2,556.99 billion VND, including: equity capital is 511.4 billion VND; loan capital is 1,883.11 billion VND; loan interest 162.49 billion dong.
Referring to the solution to ensure the completion of the project on schedule in September 2023, the Ministry of Transport said that the investor has committed to shorten the schedule by 3 months; The current project basically ensures the set schedule.
“In order to ensure the completion of the project as committed, investors and project enterprises need to direct construction contractors to make the most of favorable weather, concentrate machinery and equipment, work overtime, increase crews. accelerate the construction progress, complete the embankment work of the bidding package to construct the foundation, road surface, … to meet the overall progress of the project”, the Ministry of Transport informed.
Nha Trang – Cam Lam expressway is more than 49km long in Khanh Hoa province. The project has a total project investment of more than 7,600 billion VND, invested in the form of PPP, BOT contract.
Construction period of 2 years, starting from September 2021, the whole project includes construction packages of road foundations, bridges, sewers, underground tunnels for people’s living and tunnels through Doc San mountain. The period of operation and payback is regarding 16 years and 4 months.
