The new army headquarters will be operational in 2027

Located opposite NATO headquarters, it will be able to accommodate 4,000 employees. Designed solely by Belgian companies, the complex will play the sustainability card and will be almost energy neutral. Cost: 499 million euros.

LThe works will begin at the end of 2024 and the forecasts envisage that most of the new premises will be occupied by the end of 2027. It has therefore been decided, La Défense will soon be able to count on a brand new headquarters. “Today dispersed over a good ten buildings, the staff will occupy only one tomorrow, more ecological and more secure, to better face the challenges of the future”, rejoices Admiral Michel.
