To burn more fat, this is the perfect time to exercise!

According to a study, our body would be more effective in eliminating fat during sports sessions at a specific time of the day.

For more than a third of French people, 2023 is placed under the sign of sport. In any case, this was one of their good resolutions for the year. For some, sport allows you to spend more and stay healthy. But for others, it’s a chance to shed excess winter fat.

For’eliminate fat more effectively, some sports are recommended. This is particularly the case running, jumping rope, rowing or swimming. But is there a time of day when we can eliminate more fat by doing the same amount of sport?

According to a team of Danish researchers, the answer is yes! And their conclusions on the subject were published last February in the specialist journal PNAS.

Metabolism more stimulated at the end of the morning

In order to determine the ideal time to eliminate our superfluous fat, the researchers conducted experiments on mice. Indeed, even if rodents seem very distant from us, their metabolism works in the same way as ours.

First, they enticed the animals to do fairly intense exercise sessions at several times of the day. Then they observed in detail the fatty tissue of the animals following the sessions. Note that in each case, the fact of having eaten or not before the exercises did not impact the results.

However, the researchers found that the late morning exercise sessions were the most effective in eliminating fat. According to their analyses, certain genes in our body linked to this effect are more stimulated from 11am. In fact, it would be more effective for humans to lose weight by playing sports at this time.

A Time Slice That Might Make Fat Loss Easier For Some People

It should be noted, however, that the researchers also compared the effects between late morning sport and late evening sport. And if the morning is more impactful on the metabolism, sport remains beneficial whatever the moment of the day it is performed.

But this observation may be of interest to health specialists. Indeed, it might allowoptimize sessions for certain athletes. In fact, these morning sessions might help overweight or obese people lose weight more easily. However, a new study on humans would need to be conducted to determine its exact effectiveness.
