NBA/Hornets Ball’s right ankle fracture confirmed season reimbursement

Bad news came out today (1st) for Charlotte Hornets star Laelo Ball. After inspection, it was determined that he would not be able to play once more this season.

According to “The Athletic” reporter Shams Charania, Ball was determined to have a fractured right ankle following an examination and will be reimbursed for this season. In the recent game once morest the Detroit Pistons, Ball injured his ankle following stepping back from a dribble behind his back early in the third quarter, and he also left the game for a rest.

Ball missed 13 games at the beginning of the season because of a sprained left ankle. After his return, he injured his ankle once more in 3 games and missed 11 games. He played a total of 36 games this season, averaging 23.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game.
