LG Electronics announced that it will conduct ‘LG Whisen Air Conditioner Pre-Inspection Service’ from March 8th to May 31st so that customers can cool off in the hot summer.

Customers using LG Whisen air conditioners can apply for a pre-inspection through the LG Electronics service customer service center before the summer peak season, and following self-inspection, if expert action is required, they can apply for a visit service.

LG Electronics guides the air conditioner self-inspection method that anyone can easily perform simple but essential inspections such as air conditioner power connection status, remote control battery, ultrafine filter cleaning status, etc. in ‘Customer Support’ on the official website. You can also receive a text message to guide you on how to self-check when you contact the customer service center.

Customers of home system air conditioners, whose installation is increasing as interest in interior design is increasing, can also undergo simple self-inspection through the homepage, such as whether the window in the outdoor unit room is open or not and check the circuit breaker, and receive the same pre-inspection if necessary.

LG Electronics plans to guide large-scale apartment complexes through management offices on how to self-inspect system air conditioners, and encourage prior inspections to minimize inconvenience to customers during peak season.

When an engineer visits a customer’s house for pre-inspection of the air conditioner, the inspection fee including travel expenses is free. However, if parts replacement or refrigerant injection is required, a separate cost may be incurred.

Engineers who visited for pre-inspection ▲check performance, such as refrigerant leaks, cold air temperature, etc. ▲sanitary and clean checks, such as indoor unit filters ▲safety checks, such as power outlet connections and wiring connections ▲check leaks, such as leaks in the drain hose and foreign substances clogged around the outdoor unit Ventilation checks are carried out meticulously, and air conditioners are tested.

In addition, customers who want to thoroughly clean and wash their products can use the paid service ‘LG Best Care’. LG Best Care’s ‘home appliance washing service’ is a service in which service experts disassemble, clean, and sterilize even the inside of appliances that are difficult to clean. In the case of air conditioners, the product is disassembled to provide differentiated services such as high-pressure spray cleaning, steam sterilization, and deodorization of the heat exchanger.

“We will provide a differentiated customer experience with various services so that customers do not have any inconvenience while using LG’s premium home appliances, including air conditioners,” said Jeong Yeon-chae, vice president of LG Electronics’ Customer Value Innovation Division.
